ALCI’s Spring Seminar this year takes place on Saturday March 13th in University College Hospital, Galway. The day promises to provide the usual blend of stimulation and networking, and follows on from our highly successful Conference in Maynooth. Among the highlights will be a talk on herbal medicine and breastfeeding and Anne Marie Oglesby, a Clinical Risk Advisor, will be giving a talk entitled ‘Documentation & Standards: Legal and Ethical Considerations’. This will relate directly to the afternoon sessions of group work, on the theme of documenting lactation support. Other speakers include Mary Toole, Maura Lavery and Mary Mahon.
The day (including lunch and other refreshments) will cost Є45 for ALCI members and Є55 for non members by post or on the day.
